On a tight course with tree-lined fairways and true greens, only a straight hitter and a hot putter would be likely to succeed. Luke once again proved that he’s a man in form by winning his 4th event of the season. Gordon (3 wins) is playing catch-up and the rest of us are trailing in their wake. Well over halfway through the season but dare I say it…..is it a 2 horse race already for the OofM ?

Next event is a twilight at Dyrham Park on Mon 15th June

16:02 tee – No food

RULE OF THE MONTH: 4.1b
The Rule: Maximum of 14 Clubs
You must not start a round with more than 14 clubs. You can carry fewer, but never more than 14. The only exception is if you accidentally break a club during play, in which case you can replace it, but you cannot carry spares just to have more options.

Penalty for Breaching the Rule
If you realise during your round that you have more than 14 clubs, you must declare it out of play immediately to avoid maximum penalties.
  • Stroke Play: A two-stroke penalty for each hole where a breach happened (maximum of four penalty strokes per round).
  • Match Play: The state of the match is adjusted by deducting one hole for each hole where a breach happened (maximum of two holes per round).
