Gordon wins the Players for the 4th time and becomes TIGS most prolific winner of this major. In doing so, he also leaps from 8th place to 5th place on the all time Roll of Honour.

OK so it wasn’t raining, but it was bloody chilly and very windy. The course was in good nick and the greens were fast and true. If you managed to stay out of a bunker for two rounds, then I don’t believe you. This was a course too far for some people, but if you were able to hold it together in very tough conditions then well done to you. Gordon was a deserving champion, winning by quite some margin in the end.
